Rail Wheel Factory (RWF) Sports Quota Recruitment 2026-27

- Recruitment of 15 sportspersons under Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) for the year 2026-27.
- Positions available in Level-2 (GP 1900) and Level-1 (GP 1800) pay scales.
- Disciplines include Badminton, Table Tennis, Cricket, Hockey, Football, and Kabaddi.
- Offline application process with document verification and field trials.
- Selected candidates must serve a minimum of 5 years in their sports field.

- Age limit: 18 to 25 years as on 1 January 2027 (born between 2 January 2002 and 1 January 2009).
- No age relaxation permitted.
- Minimum educational qualification varies by post:
- Level-2 (GP 1900): 10th pass with NAC/ITI in relevant trade or 12th pass for Junior Clerk/Accounts Clerk.
- Level-1 (GP 1800): 10th pass, ITI, or equivalent qualification.
- Candidates must be active sportspersons with recognized achievements in the current or immediate previous two financial years (on or after 1 April 2024).
- No relaxation in minimum educational qualification is permissible.
- Candidates serving in Government/PSU must submit NOC and declaration of intimation to employer.

- Applications will be screened for eligibility and sports achievements.
- Eligible candidates will be called for document verification and field trials.
- Field trials will assess game skills, physical fitness, and coach's observations (40 marks).
- Sports achievements will be assessed as per norms (50 marks).
- Educational qualification will be evaluated (10 marks).
- Total marks: 100. Minimum qualifying marks: 65 for Level-2 (GP 1900) and 60 for Level-1 (GP 1800).
- Selection will be based on merit; in case of a tie, preference will be given to the younger candidate.
- Selected candidates must pass a typewriting test within 4 years of appointment (for Junior Clerk/Accounts Clerk).

All categories (General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS) are eligible; no post is exclusively reserved for any community.

- Duly filled application form (Annexure-I) printed on A4 paper.
- Recent passport-size color photograph (4 cm x 5 cm, not older than 3 months).
- Self-attested copies of Date of Birth proof (10th certificate).
- Self-attested copies of educational qualification certificates.
- Self-attested copies of sports achievement certificates (as per Annexure-II).
- Caste certificate (if applicable) in prescribed format.
- Minority/EBC declaration (if claiming fee exemption).
- Discharge certificate (for Ex-servicemen applicants).
- Domicile certificate (for candidates from NE states and specified regions).
- Examination fee in the form of IPO/DD.

- General/OBC candidates: ₹500 (₹400 refundable upon appearing in trials).
- SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Minorities/EBC candidates: ₹250 (fully refundable upon appearing in trials).
- Fee must be paid via crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) or Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favor of Principal Financial Adviser (PFA), RWF, payable at Bangalore.
- IPOs/DDs issued before notification date or after closing date will not be accepted.
