Various Civil Engineering Contract/Deputation/Post-Superannuation Vacancies

- Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation Limited (GMRC) is recruiting for various Civil Engineering roles under Ahmedabad/Gandhinagar Metro Project Phase-I, Phase-II, and Surat Phase-I.
- Positions are available on contract, deputation, or post-superannuation basis for a minimum of 3 years, extendable up to 5 years based on performance.
- Roles include Chief General Manager, General Manager, Additional General Manager, Joint General Manager, Senior Deputy General Manager, Deputy General Manager, Manager, Assistant Manager, Senior Grade Engineer, Junior Grade Engineer, Draftsman, and Surveyor.

- Education Qualification: All posts require a B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a Government-recognized university or equivalent. Draftsman and Surveyor require a 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Experience Requirements (varies by post)
• Chief General Manager (CGM): Minimum 23 years of post-qualification experience in private organizations or 20 years in Government/PSUs, with at least 17 years in Executive level (SAG/GM grade).
• General Manager (GM): Minimum 20 years of post-qualification experience in private organizations or 17 years in Government/PSUs, with at least 14 years in Executive level.
• Additional General Manager: Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience in Government/PSUs or 18 years in private organizations.
• Joint General Manager: Minimum 14 years of post-qualification experience in Government/PSUs or 16 years in private organizations.
• Senior Deputy General Manager: Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience in private organizations or 11 years in Government/PSUs.
• Deputy General Manager: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in private organizations or 8 years in Government/PSUs.
• Manager: Minimum 9 years of post-qualification experience in private organizations or 7 years in Government/PSUs.
• Assistant Manager: Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience in private organizations or 5 years in Government/PSUs.
• Senior Grade Engineer: Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience.
• Junior Grade Engineer: Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience.
• Draftsman/Surveyor: Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in AutoCAD/Designing or Survey works.
- Experience Preference: Candidates with experience in metro/railway construction, underground structures, tunnels, viaducts, bridges, and multi-storied buildings will be preferred.
- Language Preference: Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in Gujarat for at least 3 years and are conversant with Gujarati.

- Selection will be based on Personal Interviews followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the same or immediate lower grade.
