Assistant Manager & Deputy Manager Recruitment 2026

- Recruitment drive by SPMCIL, a Mini-Ratna Category-I CPSE under the Government of India.
- Open for 24 posts across Deputy Manager (IT) and Assistant Manager roles in HR, Finance & Accounts, Materials Management, IT, Official Language, and Safety disciplines.
- Online applications open from 25 July 2026 to 24 August 2026.
- Selection based on online test (75% weightage) and interview (25% weightage).
- Bond of Rs. 3,00,000 required for new recruits to serve for a minimum of 3 years.

- Indian nationals only are eligible to apply.
- Deputy Manager (IT) – Application Developer: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/IT/ECE with 60% marks + 3 years' post-qualification experience in PSU/Government/reputed private company.
- Assistant Manager (HR): Master's Degree in PM & IR/MSW/MBA (HR elective) or equivalent.
- Assistant Manager (F&A): B.Com with CA/ICWA qualification.
- Assistant Manager (MM): Engineering Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Pulp & Paper Technology/Electronics/Printing Technology + 2-year PG Diploma/MBA in Materials Management/Supply Chain/Logistics.
- Assistant Manager (IT): MCA or B.Tech in Computer Engineering/IT with first-class marks.
- Assistant Manager (OL): Master's Degree in Hindi or English with 2 years' translation experience.
- Assistant Manager (Safety): Engineering/Technology degree with 2+ years' supervisory factory experience or Physics/Chemistry degree with 6+ years' experience + recognized degree/diploma in Industrial Safety.
- Age limit: 35 years for Deputy Manager (IT) and 30 years for Assistant Manager posts as on 24 August 2026.
- Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10/15/13 years for PwBD (subject to 40% disability), and as per government rules for Ex-servicemen.

- Selection comprises an online test (75% weightage) and interview (25% weightage).
- Online test includes Professional Knowledge (60 questions, 90 marks), General Awareness (15 questions, 15 marks), English Language (15 questions, 15 marks), Logical Reasoning (15 questions, 15 marks), and Quantitative Aptitude (15 questions, 15 marks).
- Total 120 questions, 150 marks, 120 minutes duration.
- Negative marking: 1/4th of marks deducted for each wrong answer.
- Minimum qualifying marks: UR/EWS 45%, OBC 40%, SC/ST 35% in online test.
- Shortlisted candidates for interview in 1:4 ratio against notified vacancies.
- Final selection requires minimum 55% (UR/EWS), 50% (OBC), 45% (SC/ST) combined marks in online test and interview.

- Recent passport-size photograph (JPG/JPEG, 20-50 KB, white background, 4.5cm x 3.5cm).
- Scanned signature (JPG/JPEG, 20-50 KB, signed in black ink on white paper).
- Left thumb impression (JPG/JPEG, 20-50 KB, on white paper with black/blue ink).
- Handwritten declaration (JPG/JPEG, 50-100 KB, in English on white paper with black ink).
- Educational certificates (SSC, HSC, Diploma, Graduation, Post-Graduation, etc.).
- Category certificate (if applicable).
- Experience certificate (if applicable).
- DOB proof (e.g., SSC certificate).
- Aadhaar card (for verification).

- General, EWS, OBC (including Ex-servicemen): Rs. 1000 (non-refundable examination fee).
- SC, ST, PwBD: Rs. 200 (non-refundable intimation charges).
- Fee must be paid online via Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, or UPI.
- Fee once paid is non-refundable and cannot be adjusted against other applications.
