Manager - PAPIS Vacancy

- RITES Limited, a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, is recruiting dynamic professionals for the position of Manager - PAPIS on a contract basis in Tamil Nadu.
- The role involves expertise in Installation, Commissioning, Maintenance, and Supervision of metro rolling stock PAPIS System.
- The selected candidate will be appointed on a contract basis initially for one year, extendable until the completion of the assignment, subject to mutual consent and satisfactory performance.

- Educational Qualification: Full-time Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Electronics & Telecommunication or equivalent from an institution recognized by BTE/AICTE or a University incorporated by an Act of Central/State legislature in India.
- For Diploma Holders: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience with at least 2 years of experience in Installation & Commissioning/Maintenance/Supervision of metro rolling stock PAPIS System.
- For Degree Holders: Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience with at least 2 years of experience in Installation & Commissioning/Maintenance/Supervision of metro rolling stock PAPIS System.
- Experience Note: Training/internship/teaching/academic/fellowship/PhD research experience will not be counted as part of the required experience.
- Minimum Marks Requirement:
- UR/EWS/OBC-NCL candidates must have a first-class degree or minimum 60% marks in the minimum qualification for unreserved posts.
- SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWD candidates must have a minimum 50% marks in the minimum qualification for reserved posts.
- Age Limit: Maximum age of 40 years as of 04.10.2026 (cut-off date).
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC-NCL: 3 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 years (in addition to SC/ST/OBC-NCL relaxation if applicable).

- Interview: Shortlisted candidates will appear for an interview, which will be conducted in Hindi or English.

- Technical & Professional Proficiency: 65%
- Personality, Communication & Competency: 35%
- Minimum Marks Required in Interview: 60% for UR/EWS (50% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWD against reserved posts).
- Medical Examination: Selected candidates must pass a medical examination as per RITES Rules and Standards of Medical Fitness.
