Assistant Manager / Transaction Advisory Vacancies

- RITES Limited, a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, is recruiting dynamic professionals for the role of Assistant Manager / Transaction Advisory.
- The position is part of a premier multi-disciplinary consultancy organization specializing in transport, infrastructure, and related technologies.
- The selected candidate will be appointed on a regular basis and will be liable for posting anywhere in India or abroad as per company requirements.

- Educational Qualification: Full-time Bachelor’s degree in any branch of engineering and a full-time two-year MBA (or equivalent degree) with specialization in Finance or related subjects.
- Minimum Experience: Two years of post-qualification experience in transaction advisory for PPP or asset monetization infrastructure projects, financial modeling, financial valuation, project finance, financial due diligence, bid process management, financial closure, preparation or review of concession documents, fund raising, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), or investment banking.
- Experience Note: Periods of training (except on-the-job training), internships, teaching, academic, fellowship, or PhD research experience will not be counted as part of the required experience. Apprenticeship training (as per The Apprenticeship Act 1961) in the relevant discipline/area will be considered for minimum post-qualification experience, subject to fulfilling all other eligibility criteria.
- Marks Requirement:
- Candidates belonging to UR/EWS category (and SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD applying against unreserved posts) must have a first-class degree or a minimum of 60% marks in the minimum qualification.
- Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD) must have at least 50% marks in the minimum qualification for consideration against reserved posts.
- Degree Recognition: The degree must be recognized by AICTE/UGC and from a university incorporated by an Act of Central or State legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared as a deemed university under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
- Sections A & B Examination: Equivalent to a degree by the Government of India and recognized by AICTE from the Institution of Engineers (India) will also be accepted.

- Written Test:
- 125 objective-type questions, each carrying one mark, for a duration of 2.5 hours.
- No negative marking system; no marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.
- Minimum qualifying marks: 50% for UR/EWS and 45% for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD against reserved posts.
- Compensatory time of 50 minutes for candidates belonging to the PwBD category.
- Document Scrutiny:
- Documents will be scrutinized based on the written test results and number of vacancies.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview after verification of original documents.
- Candidates must upload supporting documents substantiating claims made in the application form.
- Deficiencies in documents will be notified on the website, and candidates must submit the required documents at the time of document verification.
- Interview:
- Candidates will be called for an interview in a ratio of 1:6 to the number of vacancies.
- Weightage distribution: Written Test (60%), Interview (40%), with Interview further divided into Technical & Professional Proficiency (30%) and Personality Communication & Competency (10%).
- Minimum qualifying marks: 60% for UR/EWS and 50% for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD against reserved posts.
- Candidates can choose to appear for the selection process either in Hindi or English.
- The selection process may be conducted from Regional Offices, as per RITES discretion.

General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, PwBD

- High School certificate for proof of Date of Birth.
- Certificates of Academic & Professional qualifications and statements of marks for all semesters/years (Xth, XIIth, Diploma/Graduation/Post-Graduation).
- Percentage Conversion Document (if applicable) as issued by the University/Institute.
- EWS/SC/ST/OBC Certificate in the prescribed format by the Government of India (if applicable).
- Proof of Identity & Address (Passport, Voter ID, Driving License, Aadhaar Card, etc.).
- PAN Card.
- Proof of each period of experience claimed in the Application Form (offer letter, joining order, relieving letter, service certificate, relevant pay slips, etc.).
- PwBD Certificate as per the latest format (if applicable).
- Any other document in support of the candidate’s claims.

- General/OBC Candidates: Rs. 600/- plus applicable taxes.
- EWS/SC/ST/PwBD Candidates: Rs. 300/- plus applicable taxes.
