Assistant Manager (Civil Engineer / Airports) Vacancy

- RITES Limited, a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, invites applications for the position of Assistant Manager (Civil Engineer / Airports).
- The role involves expertise in airport planning, design of airfield pavements, detailed estimates, and related infrastructure projects.
- Candidates must possess a Full-time Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by AICTE/UGC.
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant post-qualification work experience in airport planning, design of airfield pavements, and preparation of detailed estimates is mandatory.
- The selection process includes a written test followed by document scrutiny and an interview.
- The written test consists of 125 objective-type questions (1 mark each) with no negative marking. A minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD) is required to qualify.
- Interview weightage: 40% (Technical & Professional proficiency: 30%, Personality & Communication: 10).
- Appointment will be subject to medical fitness and posting anywhere in India or abroad as per company requirements.
- Probation period of 1 year with confirmation based on performance and document verification.

- Educational Qualification: Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years’ relevant post-qualification experience in airport planning, design of airfield pavements, and preparation of detailed estimates.
- Marks Requirement:
- UR/EWS/OBC-NCL: First-class degree or minimum 60% marks in the qualifying degree.
- SC/ST/PwBD: Minimum 50% marks in the qualifying degree.
- Age Limit (as of 08.10.2026)
- General/OBC-NCL: Maximum 32 years (relaxation for SC/ST: 5 years, OBC-NCL: 3 years, PwBD: 10 years, J&K Domicile: 5 years).
- Relaxations:
- RITES/PSU employees: 5 years age relaxation.
- PwBD candidates: Must meet physical requirements and functional classifications for the post.
- Degree Recognition: Degree must be recognized by AICTE/UGC or equivalent as per Government of India standards.

- Written Test: 125 objective-type questions (1 mark each) for 2.5 hours. No negative marking. Minimum qualifying marks: 50% (UR/EWS), 45% (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD).
- Document Scrutiny: Shortlisting based on written test performance and vacancies. Candidates must upload supporting documents during online application.
- Interview: Conducted in a 1:6 ratio to vacancies. Weightage: 60% written test, 40% interview (Technical: 30%, Personality: 10). Minimum qualifying marks: 60% (UR/EWS), 50% (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD).
- Medical Examination: Appointment subject to medical fitness as per RITES standards.
