- Desirable: Master’s or higher degree in Engineering/Technology/Science.
- Experience:
- Essential: Retired from any DPSU at Pay Scale E-8/E-9 or equivalent (Central Government Pay Level 14 and above) OR equivalent grade Professors/Scientists retired from IITs, CSIR, DRDO, ISRO, or analogous posts in Central Government at Pay Level 14 and above.
- Desirable: At least 10 years of relevant operational, technical, and managerial experience in defence production, R&D, or technology management, particularly in high-energy materials, ammunition, and explosives.
- Experience in research/publications in defence technology is also considered.
