Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme 125th Course (Men) Recruitment 2026

- Final-year students may apply if they complete their degree before the course commencement (April 2027).
- Unmarried male candidates only (including unmarried Wards of Battle Casualties).
- Wards of Battle Casualties: No requirement for NCC 'C' Certificate; must be unmarried sons/daughters (including legally adopted) of Army personnel classified as Battle Casualties.

- Application Submission: Online applications accepted from 20 July 2026 to 20 August 2026 via www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
- Shortlisting: Based on bonus marks (max 100) for NCC 'C' Certificate (50 marks for 'A' Grade, 25 for 'B' Grade) and graduation performance (0 to 50 marks based on percentage).
- SSB Interview: Conducted over 5 days at centers in Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru, or Jalandhar (likely November/December 2026).
- Medical Examination: Candidates recommended after SSB Stage II undergo medical tests; validity period is 270 days from SSB medical board date.
- Merit List: Prepared based on SSB interview marks; ties broken by age (older candidate ranked higher) and qualifying exam percentage.
- Joining Letter: Issued to candidates within the merit list and available vacancies for pre-commission training at OTA Chennai starting April 2027.

- University certificate on CGPA-to-marks conversion criteria (where applicable).
- For final-year candidates: Certificate from Principal/Head of Institution confirming degree completion by 01 April 2027.
- For Wards of Battle Casualties: Battle Casualty certificate and relationship certificate issued by Manpower (Policy & Planning) Directorate.
