Various Executive Level Vacancies in Cochin Port Authority

- Recruitment for 12 executive-level positions in Cochin Port Authority through All-India Direct Recruitment competitive examination.

- For Class I posts (Assistant Executive Engineer & Accounts Officer Grade I): Maximum age limit of 30 years as of 10.08.2026.
- For Class II posts (Assistant Engineer & Programmer): Maximum age limit of 35 years as of 10.08.2026.
- Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and 10 years for PwBD (15 years for SC/ST PwBD, 13 years for OBC PwBD).
- Candidates must be Indian citizens or meet specific eligibility criteria for foreign nationals as per Government of India guidelines.
- Educational qualifications vary by post: Degree in relevant engineering discipline for technical roles, Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant for Accounts Officer, and computer-related qualifications for Programmer.
- Desirable experience of 2 years in executive cadre for Class I posts (not mandatory for Class II).
- For Programmer post, 2 years of post-qualification experience in programming and software development is mandatory.

- Selection based on Computer-Based Test (CBT) and Interview.
- CBT consists of 100 objective-type questions (50 on specialization, 15 on reasoning, 15 on quantitative aptitude, 10 on general awareness, and 10 on English language) with a duration of 90 minutes.
- Negative marking of 1/4th marks for incorrect answers.
- Shortlisting for interview in a 1:6-12 ratio (vacancies to candidates) subject to reservation rules.
- Final selection based on combined marks from CBT and interview.
- Tie-breaking criteria: Higher marks in specialization section, followed by date of birth (older candidate preferred).
- Medical fitness certification required from Cochin Port Authority's Medical Board for final appointment.

- Unreserved (UR) candidates: Rs. 500.
- OBC and EWS candidates: Rs. 300.
- SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen: No application fee.
