Sr. Deputy General Manager (E-VIA Grade) – Permanent Basis

- BEL is a Navratna company and premier Indian Public Sector Unit in professional electronics, offering roles in Military Radars, Naval Systems, Weapons & Fire Control, Homeland Security, Electronic Warfare, and more.
- Purpose: Coordinate technical liaison between BEL’s Strategic Business Units (SBUs) and defense organizations (Army HQ, MoD, DRDO, etc.) for business needs and development.
- Key Responsibilities: Participate in product demonstrations, attend exhibitions, establish networks with customers, and provide technical support for defense acquisitions.
- Location: Delhi, Vishakhapatnam, Mumbai, and Karwar (permanent posting).
- Work Mode: Permanent basis for selected candidates.

- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) in any discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 20 years of service in defense forces (Army, Navy, or Air Force).
- Rank Eligibility:
- Army: Colonel with 2 years of seniority in rank.
- Navy: Captain with 2 years of seniority in rank.
- Air Force: Group Captain with 2 years of seniority in rank.
- Age Limit (as of 01-09-2026):
- General: 52 years.
- OBC: 55 years.
- Retirement Condition: Retired candidates must have been discharged within 5 years from defense services as of the advertisement date.
- Relevant Experience: Must have experience with products/systems supplied to or required by the respective defense branch (Army, Navy, or Air Force).
- Business Aptitude: Flair for marketing, business management, and knowledge of defense acquisition procedures/policies.
- Market Intelligence: Ability to conduct environmental scans, gather market intelligence, and provide satisfactory customer support.
- Communication Skills: High initiative and excellent communication skills required.
