Faculty Recruitment (Medical & Nursing) at AIIMS Deoghar

- All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Deoghar (AIIMS Deoghar) is recruiting for Medical Faculty and Nursing Faculty positions on a direct recruitment/deputation basis across various departments.
- This is the 9th Rolling Advertisement – Phase 2 for faculty recruitment, with three cut-off dates for application submission: 15th October 2026, 15th December 2026, and 15th February 2027.
- The advertisement is open for Indian nationals and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) under Section 7A of the Citizenship Act, 1955.
- Vacancies are provisional and subject to variation as per Government of India rules.
- Reservations will be followed as per Government of India policy, including 4% horizontal reservation for Persons with Disabilities (PwD).
- Downgradable posts are marked with an asterisk (*) and may be filled by candidates eligible for lower cadres.
- Applications are invited for Medical Faculty (Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor) and Nursing Faculty (Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Tutor) across multiple departments.

- Medical Faculty (Broad Specialty Discipline):
• Educational Qualification: MBBS (recognized by MCI) + MD/MS or equivalent qualification in the respective discipline.
• Experience: Varies by post (e.g., 14 years for Professor, 10 years for Additional Professor, 6 years for Associate Professor, 3 years for Assistant Professor).
- Medical Faculty (Super Specialty Discipline):
• Educational Qualification: M.Ch. (for surgical super specialties) or D.M. (for medical super specialties) or equivalent.
• Experience: Varies by post (e.g., 12 years for Professor, 8 years for Additional Professor, 4 years for Associate Professor, 1 year for Assistant Professor).
- Dentistry Candidates:
• Educational Qualification: BDS + MDS or equivalent.
• Experience: Varies by post (e.g., 14 years for Professor, 10 years for Additional Professor, 6 years for Associate Professor, 3 years for Assistant Professor).
- Non-Medical Candidates:
• Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in the concerned specialty + Doctorate degree from a recognized university.
• Experience: Varies by post (e.g., 14 years for Professor, 10 years for Additional Professor, 6 years for Associate Professor, 3 years for Assistant Professor).
- Nursing Faculty (Associate Professor/Reader):
• Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution + Registered Nurse Midwife.
• Experience: 8 years after M.Sc (Nursing), including 5 years of teaching experience.
- Age Limits (Direct Recruitment Basis):
• Professor/Additional Professor: Not exceeding 58 years as of the cut-off date.
• Associate Professor/Assistant Professor: Not exceeding 50 years as of the cut-off date.
• Age relaxation for SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years, Persons with Disabilities: 10 years (15 years for SC/ST, 13 years for OBC).
• Government servants: 5 years relaxation as per DoPT instructions.
• Ex-servicemen: 5 years relaxation.

- Selection will be based on interviews conducted in phases as per the requirement of the Institute.
- The selection process will include a review of academic credentials, research credentials, publications, academic awards, research papers, conference presentations, and performance in the interview.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.

- MBBS/BDS/MD/MS/MDS/DNB/DM/M.Ch/PhD Registration with Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India/State Medical Council/State Nursing Council.
- Internship Completion Certificate for MBBS/BDS.
- Declaration to be signed by Non-Creamy Layer OBC Candidates (if applicable).
- Recent OBC-NCL Certificate (if applicable).
- Disability Certificate (if applicable).
- Recent Income & Assets Certificate (if applicable for EWS).
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the present employer or Relieving Letter from earlier institutions (if applicable).
- Experience Certificate (clearly showing the period of experience).
- Any other relevant documents like publications, awards, research projects, patents, etc.
