Senior Residents & Senior Demonstrators Recruitment 2026-27

- Recruitment for Senior Residents and Senior Demonstrators at AIIMS Mangalagiri, a premier healthcare institute under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.
- Positions available across 19 departments including Anaesthesiology, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Cardiothoracic Surgery, and more.
- Contract-based appointments for a maximum period of 3 years with opportunities for extension based on performance.
- Competitive pay scale as per 7th CPC with additional allowances for medical candidates.
- No private practice allowed during the tenure of appointment.
- Strict adherence to institutional rules and regulations required.

- For Medical Candidates (Senior Residents): MD/DNB/MS in the respective specialty from a recognized university/institute.
- For Non-Medical Candidates (Senior Demonstrators): M.Sc./M.Biotech in the subject concerned with Ph.D. in the subject/allied subject.
- Upper age limit: 45 years as on the closing date of applications (05th August 2026).
- Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and up to 15 years for PwBD candidates as per government rules.
- Candidates must have completed their qualifying degree examination on or before the crucial date (05th August 2026).
- Registration with the Medical Council of India/State Medical Council is mandatory for medical candidates.
- Candidates working in government/semi-government institutions must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer.

- Selection is based on an interview conducted by AIIMS Mangalagiri.
- If the number of applicants exceeds expectations, a screening test with MCQs in the subject concerned may be conducted before the interview.
- Final selection is provisional and subject to verification of original documents and credentials.
- Candidates must produce all original certificates at the time of document verification and interview.
- The decision of the competent authority is final and binding.

UR, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, PwBD (4% horizontal reservation for PwBD).

- Duly filled and signed original application form (Annexure-I).
- Hard copy of the application and proforma/checklist (Annexure-II).
- One set of self-attested photocopies of all essential documents (age proof, mark sheets, degree certificates, registration certificates, caste certificate, PwBD certificate if applicable).
- Original certificates for verification (MBBS degree, MD/MS/DNB/DM/M.Ch/M.Sc/Ph.D, medical registration, date of birth certificate, caste certificate, NOC if applicable).
- Scanned copy of the application form and documents to be uploaded via the provided Google Form link.
- Application fee payment receipt (NEFT/UPI transaction details).

- General/EWS/OBC candidates: Rs. 1,500/- (non-refundable).
- SC/ST candidates: Rs. 1,000/- (non-refundable).
- PwBD candidates: No application fee.
- Fee must be paid separately for each department applied for.
- Payment to be made via NEFT/UPI to the provided bank account (SBI, AIIMS Mangalagiri Branch).
