Senior Consultant (Law) on Contract Basis

Engagement of Senior Consultant in the Law Directorate of AAI on a contract basis for a period of one year.
Responsible for conducting legal research on aviation laws, contracts, service matters, land acquisition, arbitration, constitutional, and administrative law.
Preparation of case briefs, notes, and legal documents for AAI’s litigation.
Liaisoning and coordinating AAI’s litigation before various courts and tribunals.
Drafting, vetting, and reviewing legal documents including contracts, agreements, MoUs, affidavits, pleadings, and correspondence.
Maintenance of litigation and legal data on the AIMS Portal.
Coordination with departments, airports, and regional offices for litigation-related documents and records.
Assistance in maintaining records of court orders, judgments, legal opinions, contracts, and arbitration awards.

Indian Nationals only are eligible to apply.
Professional degree in Law (3-year regular course after graduation OR 5-year integrated regular course after 10+2).
Candidate must be eligible to enroll as an Advocate with the Bar Council of India to practice in Indian courts.
Minimum 8 to 10 years of legal work experience.
Qualification must be from National Law Universities or recognized universities established by Central/State Acts or deemed universities under UGC Act, recognized by the Bar Council of India.

Selection will be based on academic qualifications, experience, document verification, and interview.
Preliminary shortlisting will be based on uploaded documents.
