Junior Technical Superintendent (Contractual) at Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University

- Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU) is inviting applications for the position of Junior Technical Superintendent on a contractual basis for a period of one year, extendable up to three years based on performance and requirement.
- The position is located at Fursatganj, Amethi, Uttar Pradesh.
- The engagement is purely contractual and does not guarantee permanent absorption or seniority in the university.
- No additional allowances (e.g., DA, HRA, PF, Pension, Gratuity, LTC, Medical claims) are admissible for this contractual engagement.
- The selected candidate will be required to sign an undertaking regarding confidentiality, intellectual property rights, and adherence to the terms of engagement.
- The position involves laboratory and workshop maintenance, handling sophisticated instruments, and technical supervision in an academic aviation institution.

- Qualification: Diploma in Engineering (3 years) in an appropriate field OR BSc or equivalent degree in an appropriate field. Specializations: Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, Chemistry, etc. (indicative, not exhaustive).
- Experience: 5 years of relevant experience in a laboratory, academic institution, or industry, with knowledge in computer applications, electronic instruments, repairing & maintenance, and handling sophisticated instruments in a workshop/laboratory/industry.
- Desirable: Experience in Central/State Government, Autonomous Universities, or PSUs.
- Age Limit: Maximum age of 40 years as of the closing date of application.

- Selection will be based on written test, trade test, and interview as decided by the selection committee.
- The selection committee reserves the right to shortlist applicants based on their performance in the written/test/interview process. No reason for rejection will be communicated if the number of applicants is large.
- The decision of the Vice Chancellor regarding eligibility, acceptance, or rejection of applications will be final.
