Research Fellow under Srimanta Sankardev Chair

- Applications are invited for one vacant post of Research Fellow under the project titled ‘Srimanta Sankardev’ at Panjab University, Chandigarh.
- The selected candidate will be assigned to the Department of Sanskrit, Arts Block-I and will work under the supervision of the project team.
- The fellowship is temporary and coterminous with the project duration, with a fixed tenure of one year.
- The candidate must submit a research proposal of 1800–2000 words with chapterization, bibliography, and methodology.
- Monthly fellowship amount: Rs. 25,000/- (as per norms).
- The scholar must submit a progress report every two months, evaluated by experts/supervisor. Failure to comply may result in discontinuation of the fellowship.

- Must hold a Post Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institute with 55% marks or equivalent.
- Age limit: Not exceeding 35 years as of the closing date of the advertisement (01/10/2026).
- Not in receipt of any scholarship/grant from government, state, or private sector at the time of application.

- Eligible candidates will be shortlisted based on the proposal and CV.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview after scrutiny of applications.
- The interview date and time will be communicated via email to shortlisted candidates only.
