- Monthly stipend ranging from Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 15,028, with government contributions under DBT scheme for select categories.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must be wards or spouses of in-service NLCIL employees, retired/deceased employees, or wards of NLCIL contract workmen (Indcoserve, Howsicos, AMC, BMC).
- Minimum age: 18 years as per Apprentices Act, 1961.
- Trade Apprentices: Pass in ITI in relevant trade from a recognized institute under Craftsman Training Scheme.
- Engineering Graduate Apprentices: Full-time Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering discipline from a recognized university.
- Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices: Full-time Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline from a UGC-approved university.
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: Full-time Diploma in relevant engineering/technology discipline from a recognized board/university.
- Qualifying examination passed in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026 (not applicable for ITI candidates).
- No prior apprenticeship training at NLCIL or elsewhere.
- No work experience of one year or more.

- Selection for Trade Apprentices based on percentage of marks in qualifying ITI examination.
- Selection for Engineering, Non-Engineering, and Technician Apprentices based on percentage of marks in final qualifying examination.
- For candidates awarded CGPA/grades, percentage calculated as per university/institution conversion procedure.
- In absence of university conversion scheme, CGPA multiplied by 10 to derive percentage.
- Preference given to older candidates in case of equal marks.
