Faculty Recruitment for Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor

- Madhya Pradesh Bhoj (Open) University, Bhopal, invites applications for the posts of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor across 19 different subjects.
- The recruitment is governed by UGC Regulations 2018 and its subsequent amendments.
- Applications must be submitted online via the official website, with all necessary enclosures and a fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST candidates of MP domicile).
- Reservations are applicable for women, PwBD (Divyang) candidates, SC, ST, OBC, and EWS categories as per MP government guidelines.
- No hand-delivered applications will be accepted. Applications must be sent via registered post/speed post/courier only.

- Assistant Professor: Master’s degree with 55% marks in the concerned/relevant/allied subject from a recognized university, along with NET/SLET/SET qualification or a Ph.D. degree.
- Assistant Professor (Education): Post-Graduate degree in Social Sciences/Sciences/Humanities with 55% marks, along with an M.Ed. degree or NET/SLET/SET qualification.
- Assistant Professor (Management): Master’s Degree in Business Administration/PGDM/CA/ICWA with First Class and 2 years of professional experience after acquiring the degree.
- Associate Professor: Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, a Master’s degree with 55% marks, and 8 years of teaching/research experience with 7+ peer-reviewed publications and a minimum research score of 75 as per Annexure II.
- Professor: Ph.D. degree with 10+ peer-reviewed publications and a minimum research score of 120, or an outstanding professional with 10 years of experience and significant contributions to the discipline.
- Equivalence Certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) is required for candidates with degrees from foreign universities.
- Research publications from 14 June 2019 to 11 February 2025 must be in UGC-CARE listed journals. Other peer-reviewed journals are acceptable outside this period.

- Shortlisting of candidates will be based on academic and research scores as per the criteria in Annexure II and Annexure III/IV for Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor respectively.
- Interview will be conducted for selected candidates based on their scores.
- The final selection will be based on performance in the interview.

General (UR), OBC, SC, ST, EWS, and PwBD (Divyang) categories are eligible to apply.

- Domicile Certificate for MP domicile candidates.
- Income Certificate (for OBC-NCL candidates).
- PwBD (Divyang) Certificate (if applicable).
- Ph.D. Certificate (if applicable).
- Two referees’ details (one may be the present employer).
- Affidavit regarding the number of children (if applicable).
