- Educational qualification: Passed Intermediate (10+2) from a recognized board.
- Age limit: 18 to 35 years as on 01.07.2026 (relaxation applicable as per government norms).
- Must be a local resident of the concerned Anganwadi Centre area (Gram Panchayat in rural areas or Municipal Ward in urban areas).
- For SC/ST Sub-Plan vacancies, only eligible SC/ST women candidates from the same Hamlet/Habitation are eligible.
- Residence Certificate issued by the Tahsildar within one year from the notification date is mandatory.
- Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) are eligible if capable of performing duties independently.

- Orphan candidates must submit Orphan Certificate issued by the Tahsildar.
