- Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent degree in allied branches related to the project.
- OR Three years of research/teaching experience after ME/M.Tech with at least one published research paper in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
- Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis and have consistently good academic records are also eligible.
- Essential expertise in gasification, chemical kinetics, heat transfer, or IC engines.
- Desirable knowledge of software like FLUENT, CFD, ASPEN PLUS, RSM, and conduction simulation coding.
- Upper age limit: 35 years (relaxable as per Government of India norms).
- SC/ST candidates will be preferred, all things being equal.
