- ITI Apprentices: Must have passed ITI in the relevant trade (except Glass Former and Processor, who require 8th standard pass).
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: Must hold a full-time Diploma in Engineering/Technology in relevant discipline.
- Graduate (Degree) Apprentices: Must hold a full-time Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology or any discipline (for non-engineering graduates).
- Candidates must have passed qualifying examination in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026.
- Minimum age: 14 years (ITI), 18 years (Diploma), 21 years (Degree). Maximum age: No limit (ITI), 24 years (Diploma), 26 years (Degree).
- Age relaxation applicable as per Government rules for reserved categories and ex-servicemen.
- Candidates must not have undergone or pursued apprenticeship training earlier in the same qualification.
