- ABV-IIITM Gwalior invites applications for Assistant Professor (Grade-I, Pay Level 12) positions across five departments: Information Technology (IT), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EE), Engineering Sciences (ES), and Management Studies (MS).
- Total vacancies: 24 (including reserved categories: General, SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS, and PwD).
- Core specializations include Mobile Computing, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, AI, Cybersecurity, Robotics, Business Intelligence, and more. Research specializations are also considered.
- Location: Morena Link Road, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India.

- Qualification: Ph.D. in the relevant discipline with a first-class in preceding degrees (UG onwards).
- Minimum CGPA/CPI: 6.5/10 or 60% marks in aggregate (if first-class not explicitly mentioned).
- Equivalent degrees: Degrees from IISc/IITs/IIITs/NITs/IIMs/ISI/IISERs or foreign degrees from top-ranked institutions (QS/The World Ranking, preferably up to 500) are acceptable.
- Experience: Three years after Ph.D. or six years total (excluding Ph.D. enrollment period) after obtaining an M.Tech. Degree.
- Research Output: Two papers in SCI journals (outside Ph.D. work), one ongoing sponsored project (for candidates from academia), two experiments/computational projects added to teaching labs, one ongoing Ph.D. supervision, one patent, or industry/R&D lab experience.
- Age Limit: Fresh appointments beyond 35 years discouraged unless the candidate has an exceptionally brilliant research career or an ongoing/approved externally funded research project.

- Shortlisting: Screening Committee will shortlist candidates based on qualifications, expertise, research outputs, and experience.
- Two-phase selection:
- Phase 1: Presentation on teaching and research in the candidate’s specialization.
- Phase 2: Interview by the Selection Committee.
- Final Decision: Board of Governors (BoG) will make the final selection based on recommendations.
