- Candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC, CSIR, or similar tests like SLET/SET, unless exempted.
- Exemption from NET/SLET/SET if holding a Ph.D. degree as per UGC Regulations (2009 or 2016) with specific evaluation criteria met.
- Age relaxation of 5% at Bachelor's and Master's levels for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and Differently-Abled candidates.
