📋 Job Description

- Temporary contractual engagement for the project 'Bioresource Conservation and Prospection' at CSIR-CFTRI, Mysuru.
- Role involves research and development in food formulation, nutritional analysis, and metabolite analysis.
- Position is co-terminus with the project duration, extendable up to 30/03/2028 based on requirements.
- Stipend: Rs. 42,000/- per month plus applicable HRA.
- Based in Mysuru, Karnataka, under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR).

✅ Eligibility Criteria

- Age limit: Maximum 40 years as of 31/07/2026 (relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/PwBD/Women and 3 years for OBC candidates).
- Candidates must have completed their essential qualifications with declared results (result-awaited candidates are ineligible).
- Essential qualifications:
- M.Sc. in Botany or Biochemistry with 3 years of R&D experience in Industrial or Science & Technology Organizations.
- OR Doctoral Degree in Science (Botany or Biochemistry) with 2 years of R&D experience in Industrial or Science & Technology Organizations.
- Desirable: Hands-on experience with HPLC, LCMS, and expertise in food formulation with specialization in nutritional and metabolite analysis.
- Candidates who have completed a total of 6 years as Project Staff in any CSIR Lab/Institute are ineligible.
