Recruitment for a research project titled 'Empowering Sixth Sense Capabilities of Communication Network: Design and Development of Test-Bed for RIS-Enabled Joint Sensing and Communication Systems' sponsored by the Technology Development Fund (TTDF) under the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Government of India.
Position involves designing and developing test-bed systems for Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS)-enabled joint sensing and communication technologies.
Role focuses on FPGA-based communication system design, digital system implementation, and real-world testing of communication networks.
Project aims to enhance communication network capabilities through advanced sensing and reconfigurable technologies.
Position is temporary and coterminous with the project duration.
โœ… Eligibility Criteria
Indian nationals only are eligible to apply.
For Junior Research Fellow (JRF):
- B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering with First Class.
For Senior Research Fellow (SRF):
- M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering with First Class, OR
- B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering with First Class and 2 years of research experience.
- Candidates with B.Tech only must have 2 years of research experience to qualify for SRF.
Strong knowledge of VHDL/Verilog for digital communication system design is required.
Hands-on experience with FPGA-based communication system design and implementation is mandatory.
Proficiency in AMD/Xilinx FPGA platforms (e.g., ZCU702, ZCU102, ZCU208, RFSoC) is essential.
Proficiency in AMD Vivado Design Suite, Vitis, and FPGA debugging tools is required.
