Manager/Senior Manager/AGM/GM (Portfolio Management)

- Lead end-to-end incubation, corporate, and international accelerator programs with strict adherence to timelines, milestones, and KPIs.
- Define strategic targets and quality standards for portfolio management, aligning organizational goals with team and program-level plans.
- Mentor and lead the portfolio management team, including hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and capability development.
- Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and financial monitoring for programs to ensure adherence to approved budgets.
- Guide startups on business models, product development, commercialization strategies, operational planning, and intellectual property (IP) matters.
- Manage startup onboarding, mentorship, KPI tracking, portfolio monitoring, and risk identification for measurable outcomes.
- Support startup fundraising readiness by assisting with pitch decks, financial models, investor connects, and due diligence for potential investments.
- Track incubator’s investment portfolio, including funding raised, follow-on rounds, valuations, and returns.
- Facilitate co-investment and syndicated funding rounds by connecting startups with angel networks, venture capital funds, and corporate investors.
- Identify and secure government and CSR funding schemes through proposal writing and relationship management.
- Drive CSR fund generation by building and managing relationships with CSR and corporate partners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for startups, corporate clients, mentors, investors, and ecosystem partners.
- Organize mentorship sessions, workshops, and training programs to enhance founder capabilities.
- Maintain structured reports, trackers, and compliance documentation in line with organizational SOPs and funding standards.
- Act as the escalation and decision-making authority for program-level issues, coordinating with operations, partnerships, marketing, finance, and legal teams.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry experts, government bodies, mentors, investors, and ecosystem partners.
- Represent the portfolio management function in leadership reviews, presenting updates and outcomes to senior leadership and the Board.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Engineering, or a related field.
- Mandatory prior experience in incubation centers, accelerators, startup ecosystem organizations, or innovation programs.
- Strong understanding of startup business models, market access strategies, customer engagement, ecosystem building, and startup growth support activities.
- Prior experience in managing incubation or accelerator programs, investor engagement, startup portfolio tracking, and cross-functional coordination is preferred.
- Proficiency in team leadership, people management, performance management, strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Expertise in program and project management with a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem.
- Skills in investment evaluation, due diligence, financial analysis, proposal writing, and identifying government/CSR funding schemes.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and reporting/presentation skills.
