Recruitment for a Project Associate-I position under the 'Genome-wide introgression of tetraploid non-progenitor Aegilops peregrina (UUSS) in hexaploid wheat background and mapping of multiple disease resistance' project.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Agriculture, or Biosciences with a minimum OCPA of 6.00/10.00 or 60% marks.
Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Plant Breeding, Plant Breeding & Genetics, Genetics/Crop Plants, Biochemistry, or Microbiology with a minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks.
Candidates with a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline (required at Master’s level) are also eligible.
Candidates must have cleared NET/NET-LS/GATE or other national-level tests conducted by Central Government departments and their agencies.
Desirable: Experience in wheat crop handling, crossing, wide hybridization, sequencing, SNP-chip data analysis, and bioinformatics.
Ph.D. scholars who have cleared NET/NET-LS/GATE or equivalent national-level tests are eligible to apply.
