📋 Job Description

One temporary position for Research Fellow under the scheme 'Futuristic Farming: Demonstrating Cutting-Edge Agri-Techniques for Resource Conservation'.
Role involves demonstrating advanced agricultural technologies and data analysis for resource conservation in Punjab.
Fellowship is initially awarded for six months, extendable for another six months or till scheme termination, whichever is earlier.
Position is purely temporary and non-permanent in nature.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, BCA, B.E. Computer Science, B.Tech Electronics and Communication, or B.Tech Electrical with minimum 60% marks or OCPA of 6.00/10.00.
OR Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Application, Electronics and Communication, or Electrical with minimum 65% marks or OCPA of 6.50/10.00.
Candidates with NET qualification are eligible for a higher fellowship amount (Rs. 37,000 + 16% HRA).
Candidates without NET but with a Master’s degree are eligible for a lower fellowship amount (Rs. 25,000 + 16% HRA).
Ph.D. holders in relevant disciplines are exempt from NET requirement and eligible for the higher fellowship amount.
Desirable: Work experience in relevant fields and exposure to data analysis techniques.
Candidates must possess qualifications in Computer Science, Computer Application, Electronics and Communication, or Electrical Engineering.

Selection will be based on academic qualifications, NET qualification (if applicable), and interview performance.
Interview will be conducted on 11-08-2026 at 10:00 AM in the office of the Head of the Department, Agronomy, PAU Ludhiana.
No separate interview call letter will be issued; candidates must appear on the scheduled date and time.
Original copies of testimonials and certificates must be presented during the interview.
No travel allowance (TA) or dearness allowance (DA) will be provided for attending the interview.
